1935 Studebaker "Big Car"
Owner: Curtis Sibley
Built in the 1930's style, this car is powered by a Studebaker 169 "Champion" six cylinder engine. It has a dual Offenhauser Intake Manifold, Dual Holley 94 Carburetors and a Edmunds High Compression Head. Suspension is Ford, with a Halibrand "V8" quick change differential. The previous owner ran this car for approximately 20 years with the "Golden Wheels" club in the Pacific Northwest. The history of the car before that time is unfortunately unknown. This car was awarded "First Prize" in the Sprint Cars Category, and "Best of Show" at the Long Beach "Celebration of Speed and Splendor" Car Show, April 28th 2002.
